Ingredients
- 200 g milk or dark chocolate
- 150 g kadayif pastry (shredded phyllo)
- 80 g butter
- 200 g Mediterra pistachio cream (45%)
- 2 tablespoons Mediterra tahini (optional)
- Crushed pistachios for garnish
Step-by-Step Preparation
- Prepare the kadayif
Cut the kadayif into small pieces. Melt the butter in a pan, add the kadayif, and cook over medium heat until golden and crispy. Let cool.
- Prepare the pistachio filling
Mix the cooled kadayif with the Mediterra pistachio cream. Add tahini if desired. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Prepare the chocolate
Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave. Pour a first layer into a mold. Refrigerate for 5–10 minutes.
Assembly
- Add a generous layer of pistachio-kadayif mixture.
- Cover with the remaining melted chocolate.
- Smooth the surface and add crushed pistachios.
